Golden Globes 2017: trionfa La La Land

Come al solito i Golden Globes non hanno tradito le previsioni e le attese, anche se sono possibili molte sorprese rispetto ai premi che saranno assegnati dal più ambito riconoscimento degli Oscar. Anche la bibbia dello spettacolo Variety ha segnalato le varie differenze tra i due eventi, ricordando che non è proprio il caso di considerare i Golden Globes un evento meno serio, più rilassato. E ricordando che i membri dell'Academy non sono come quelli dei Golden Globes (della stampa). Quindi attendetevi delle sorprese... Ma a parte queste opinabili osservazioni - le vautazioni possono essere tanto diverse quanto più si cercano differenti soggetti che le esprimano - la cerimonia è filata via senza tanti sconvolgimenti, presentata da Jimmy Fallon al Beverly Hilton Hotel di Los Angeles. Era la settantaquattresima edizione e quel che si può dire è senz'altro il fatto che abbia vinto un film nuovo e vecchio allo stesso tempo che ha già incantato chi lo ha visto, compreso noi: stiamo parlando di La La Land che è riuscito a conquistare il premio di miglior film commedia, migliore regista Damien Chazelle, migliore attore e attrice con Ryan Gosling ed Emma Stone, migliore sceneggiatura e colonna sonora, nonché migliore canzone originale con "City of Stars".

Non sorprendono nelle altre categorie la vittoria di miglior film straniero di Elle di Paul Verhoeven, con l'acclamatissima interprete Isabelle Huppert, che si aggiudica  il premio come miglior attrice in un film drammatico. Sorprende un po' la vittoria della serie The Crown perché tifavamo per Westworld. Peccato per Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul), per il quale tifavamo come miglior attore in una serie drammatica: è stato scelto Billy Bob Thornton per Goliath.
