Recensione di Several Conversations About a Very Tall Girl di Bogdan Theodor Olteanu

Si intitola "numerose conversazioni su una ragazza molto alta". Ma è il presupposto o lo spunto per iniziare una relazione amorosa che ai tempi nostri sfila tra tante conversazioni telefoniche attraverso Skype. Ci si vede, ci si sente, ma di certo ciò non basta. Ed una delle due protagoniste non è molto attratta neanche dai vari social media sfoggiati dalla partner, per i quali tutto succede o no, o comunque è piacevole come un... gioco.

L'amore tra due ragazze negli anni duemila scorre felicemente clandestino a vent'anni, quando la giovinezza è anche spensieratezza e leggerezza, ci sono pochissimi accenni alle famiglie e al lavoro: il verbo "fuck" è un po' la chiave di volta. È amore o solo sesso, una vecchia questione che però per le due ragazze diventa sempre più importante. Perché l'amore è sempre di più, tende a risucchiare ogni energia esterna ed interna.

E Bogdan Theodor Olteanu filma con amore le sue protagoniste attrici, Silvana Mihai, Florentina Năstase. E nel film si inventa anche l'acting muto di un documentario dove altre due protagoniste si amano in silenzio, sorridono, si coccolano l'una con l'altra.

È la vita beata che sboccia in ogni inquadratura lasciata sempre il tempo giusto, in sequenze molto agili e suadenti, per sognare una vita felice con un bicchiere di vino dentro una vasca di acqua fumante nel bagno. 

Si è già scritto che questa sarebbe la risposta rumena al celebre film di Abdellatif Kechiche, La vita di Adele, ma la differenza qui è evidente. Ogni effusione non è mai superflua e telefonata, osserviamo due corpi perfettamente a contatto nelle loro espressioni autentiche, laddove non occorre mostrare per comprovare la realtà filmata, poiché i sentimenti affiorano già durante le conversazioni.

Il film di Bogdan Theodor Olteanu è davvero un capolavoro di equilibrismo tra sensi amorosi muti e ciarlieri!

The love between two girls in the two thousand years flows happily clandestine at twenty, when youth is also carefree and light, there are very few references to families and work: the word "fuck" is a bit 'the keystone. It's love or just sex, an old issue that becomes increasingly important for the two girls. Because love is always more, it tends to suck every external and internal energy.

And Bogdan Theodor Olteanu films with love his protagonists actresses, Silvana Mihai, Florentina Năstase. And the film also invents the silent acting of a documentary where two other protagonists love each other in silence, smile, cuddle with each other.

It is the happy life that blooms in every frame always left the right time, in very agile and persuasive sequences, to dream a happy life with a glass of wine in a steaming water bath in the bathroom.

It has already been written that this would be the Romanian answer to the famous film by Abdellatif Kechiche, La Vie d'Adèle, but the difference here is evident. Every effusion is never superfluous and phone call, we observe two bodies in perfect contact in their authentic expressions, where it is not necessary to show to prove the reality filmed, since the feelings already surface during the conversations.

The film by Bogdan Theodor Olteanu is truly a masterpiece of balancing between mute and chatty love senses!
