"Game of Thrones - Il trono di spade" guida le nomination agli Emmy 2015

Sono state finalmente annunciate le nomination agli Emmy Awards 2015, gli Oscar della televisione americana, particolarmente attesa dai fanatici di serie che bramano di vedere i loro eroi uno contro l'altro in lotta fino all'ultimo voto. Pochissime le sorprese e tante le conferme di opere già rodate da diversi anni, e pensiamo a Game of Thrones – Il trono di spade, forte di ben 24 candidature tra cui Miglior Serie Drammatica, Miglior Attore Non Protagonista (Peter Dinklage) e Miglior Attrice Non Protagonista (con la doppietta Emilia Clarke / Lena Headey). 

Immancabili in lista, ovviamente, anche titoli come House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, Mad Men, Downton Abbey, Modern Family, American Horror Story e Parks & Recreation. Tra le avare new entry, fa invece piacere trovare Better Call Saul, spin-off dell'altrettanto celebre Breaking Bad, e la comedy Transparent, web-serie prodotta da Amazon, la quale racconta le vicende di una famiglia di Los Angeles guidata da un padre transessuale. Certo è che in un mondo migliore, al posto di Downton Abbey (davvero, ancora?!) ci sarebbero prodotti decisamente più eccitanti come Bates Motel o Penny Dreadful, ma facciamo finta di accontentarci.

Non rimane che attendere la cerimonia di premiazione che avverrà la notte del 20 settembre. Ecco le nomination al completo nelle categorie principali:
