I film di Mike Leigh e Iñárritu fanno corsa di testa alle nomination ai London Film Critics' Circle Awards: Julianne Moore riesce a candidarsi con due film per la categoria Miglior Attrice dell'anno, grazie a "Maps to the Stars" e "Still Alice"

Mr. Turner

Fuori le nomination per i London Film Critics' Circle Awards, che saranno consegnati la sera del 18 gennaio ai vincitori. Mr. Turner di Mike Leigh e Birdman di Iñárritu sono i film con più candidature, tra regia, attori, sceneggiatura e altre categorie. 

I due registi sono candidati, così come i film stessi e gli attori protagonisti, Timothy Spall e Michael Keaton. Curioso il caso della brava Julianne Mooore, che si trova a concorrere per la stessa categoria, Miglior Attrice dell'anno, con due film, Maps to the Stars di Cronenberg e il drammatico Still Alice dove interpreta una donna che contrae lentamente il morbo di Alzheimer. Restano dietro ai film sopracitati, in quanto a nomination, Boyhood, The Imitation Game e Nightcrawler.
