"A Most Violent Year" domina i premi di National Board of Review

Il film di Chandor si aggiudica la Miglior Regia e i suoi protagonisti, Oscar Isaac e Jessica Chastain, sono i migliori attori. "A Most Violent Year" batte sul filo di lana candidati come "American Sniper", "Boyhood" e "Birdman"

National Board of Review premia A Most Violent Year come miglior film del 2014, superando promesse come Boyhood, Birdman e American Sniper, per il quale Clint Easwood si porta a casa la miglior regia. Il film di Chandor assicura anche un Miglior Attore a Oscar Isaac, che divide il premio con Michael Keaton per Birdman.

Anche Jessica Chastain, coprotagonista di Isaac, è premiata come Migliore Attrice non Protagonista. Julianne Moore è la migliore attrice grazie al dramma commovente Still Alice, dove interpreta una madre di famiglia che inizia a manifestare i primi segni dell'Alzheimer.

Chandor ottiene così una bella soddisfazione dopo il bel All Is Lost con Robert Redford. A seguire i premiati per ogni categoria.
