Una storia di maturazione e scoperta del mondo da parte di un bambino che inizia a pensare con la sua testa: questo è "Partisan" di Ariel Kleinman, che debutterà nella sezione Park City al Sundance, forte della presenza di un ispirato Vincent Cassel
Finalmente è stato portato a compimento Partisan di Ariel Kleinman, il cui progetto fu presentato nel 2012 al Sundance Institute Directors and Screenwriters Lab: il film arriverà in anteprima al Sundance del 2015 nella sezione Park City.
Il volto noto è quello dell'attore francese Vincent Cassel, che divide la scena con il giovane Jeremy Chabriel: Partisan è una favola provocatoria sull'undicenne Alexander, che, dopo aver visto il mondo circostante sempre attraverso l'occhio deformante di chi lo ha cresciuto, inizia pian piano a pensare con la propria testa.
La prima clip mostra subito un rapporto dalla forte portata empatica, con un'interpretazione di Cassel molto emotiva e sentita, aiutata da un volto segnato dal tempo e apparentemente provato. La camera a mano dà allo spettatore un particolare senso di immediatezza. Per ora il film non è stato acquistato da alcun distributore statunitense.
